About Motivatories

Motivatories is a business and franchise development organisation offering:
• franchise development and systemisation, including the (development and) writing of all policy, procedure and operations manuals,
marketing programs, franchisee profiling, induction programs and ongoing development;
• training and workshop development, keynote speaking and workplace training and assessment;
• executive coaching, corporate mentoring, business consulting and general business advice;
• business writing, including short articles of 800-5000 words and business books;
• motivational products, including cards, posters, books, and recognition and reward items.
Motivatories began in the late 1988 under the name/title of Gabezo Pty Ltd with the original purpose / goal of offering business advice, bookkeeping services and training. Under the guidance of Jack and Diane Fraenkel, it grew and expanded in its service offerings and, in 2003, Motivatories Pty Ltd (emerged) was spun off to concentrate on franchise development and training. In April 2004, Motivatories UK Ltd was formed in Edinburgh Scotland to offer help and assistance to franchise owners, franchisees and business owners wanting to expand their businesses using franchising as their growth strategy.
Having helped create franchises in retailing, pharmacy, business services, financial services, graffiti removal, home improvement, plant and equipment maintenance, health, and direct sales, Motivatories brings a wealth of experience to the franchise industry.
In addition, we have worked with a number of existing franchise organisations in a range of businesses providing training and mentoring both for parent companies and for franchisees and their teams.

Team Profiles
Jack Fraenkel is an established business and franchise consultant,
motivational speaker and corporate trainer with over 30 years of sales,
management and commercial experience gained both overseas and
in Australia. He has a wealth of knowledge, particularly in retailing
and customer service organisations.
He holds accreditation with Thomas International in DISC Personality
Profiling. This tool helps Jack to help his clients build their teams and recruit and retain the best people.
As a regular contributor to publications such as Australian Business News, Service Station News, Franchising & Own Your Own Business, National Accountant, Print 21 and Around Canberra Magazine, on topics including, training and development, customer service and sales and marketing, Jack is constantly staying abreast with contemporary business thinking.
Jack has owned and operated a variety of specialist retail stores and two business services franchises. His extensive knowledge of customer service and sales skills was honed internationally as the general manager of the largest duty free retailer in Australia. He has also lived and worked in Australia and the United Kingdom.
On a regular basis, Jack provides business advice to start-up and growing businesses as a volunteer with the St George & Sutherland Business Enterprise Centre. He frequently presents the marketing curriculum of the New Enterprise Initiative Scheme (NEIS) courses under the auspices of the Eastern Suburbs Business Enterprise Centre. Since 2002, Jack has been a Councillor with the Southern Sydney Regional Council of Australian Business Limited.
Since 2000, Jack has been a regular presenter in the Women In Business courses run across the state by the New South Wales Department of State and Regional Development. Numerous women business owners have benefited from these presentations and Jack’s wealth of experience in the business world. Formally and informally, Jack has successfully mentored a number of these women business owners.
When not working on building his and his clients’ businesses, Jack is a Scout Adventurous Activities Instructor. In his Scouting career, Jack has worked primarily with teenagers 15 to 18 years of age and holds First Aid qualifications both at senior and remote access levels. Other community service includes twenty years as a Rotarian, Parents and Citizens Association Member, School Council Member and Neighbourhood Centre Membership.
Jack is an entertaining presenter with a remarkable ability to share his knowledge and experience in an educational, fun and riveting manner.
